Michelle has held valuation roles in the government and private sector. Her first role after leaving university was with Quotable Value in Invercargill where she gained registration as a valuer. After three years in Invercargill, Michelle travelled overseas on a Young Farmers exchange to the United Kingdom. On returning to New Zealand, she did a brief stint in the government sector and then joined multi national company Ernst & Young. This was followed with a valuation role at Crighton Seed & Associates in Christchurch.

A return to her home area of South Canterbury saw her working in private practice. Part time valuation work over a number of years has been undertaken. Work in the past few years included a role with the Christchurch based agribusiness team of Colliers International. Valuation work has been undertaken whilst helping her husband manage their intensive arable, horticulture and livestock property near Temuka.

Michelle’s valuation work over the years has included urban and rural valuation assignments for corporate clients and individuals around the South Island and also some parts of the North Island. An opportunity to join Valuation Partners was presented in 2020. Michelle will be specialising in the valuation of residential and lifestyle properties in the Mackenzie District and South Canterbury. She is passionate about providing excellent customer service and building client relationships.
